Better late than never

Originally, I had planned to start blogging the day that I arrived in Hawaii.
The internet access was a little bit shaky, so I decided to wait til I got in an apartment. Well, the internet access is even sketchier here, but why let that stand in the way.
There has been much to do, to get settled in and I'm still not even close. For instance: my wife is not here yet, my dog arrives tomorrow evening, and that pesky job thing...gotta do something about the job thing.
I reckon that I'll feel more settled with time as well. I've been in Oahu 11 days,
which, technically, constitutes little more than a vacation. Well, let consider vacation time over and get back to work...
